Caribbean Airlines set out to redesign and expand its premium lounge at Piarco International Airport, creating a modern, welcoming space infused with Caribbean culture. The project needed to enhance guest comfort, introduce a bold, vibrant aesthetic, and provide functional seating solutions - all within a tight six-week turnaround to minimize downtime.
The aim was to expand the lounge by 25%, increasing seating to 80 guests, while incorporating an inviting, Caribbean-inspired design with versatile seating for both relaxation and work. This included private workstations, meeting pods, and a dedicated family-friendly area to enhance the guest experience. With a strict six-week timeline, efficiency and precision were key to ensuring a smooth, timely execution.
Galt & Littlepage, in partnership with Borgo, provided a comprehensive furniture solution that blended style, comfort, and efficiency. The new lounge features:
